Mentoring and Professional Assist Services

Allegiance Healthcare Solutions offers custom, on-site and remote Cloverleaf training. The benefits of a third-party training course are numerous. In this case you benefit from the insight our certified and professional developers. When preparing for HL7 interface development, consider the following steps:

    • Proper Training: Ensure that analysts, developers, and operational staff receive training. Look for a vendor who provides product documentation, remote online instruction, onsite training, and ongoing mentoring.
    • Prioritization: Categorize interfaces based on project difficulty. During migration, focus on high-priority interfaces first. Also, highlight any new functionality from the integration platform.
    • Migration Strategy: Develop a plan for scheduling interface migration. You can start with easier interfaces and gradually tackle more complex ones as your team becomes familiar with the new tools.

Tcl is a string-based command language. The language has only a few fundamental constructs and relatively little syntax, which makes it easy to learn. The Tcl syntax is meant to be simple. Tcl is designed to be the glue that assembles software building blocks into applications.   In addition, Tcl is interpreted when the application runs. The interpreter makes it easy to build and refine your application in an interactive manner. Cloverleaf TCL Fundamentals is designed for those who have some programming or scripting experience and need a thorough introduction to TCL.  ADDITIONAL CONSULTING SERVICES AIX migration to RHEL Cloverleaf from 6.x to 20.1.3 Services

In Summary Allegiance Healthcare Solutions is the perfect partner for any Hospital or Health System and can break down our estimates as follow:

Right Company – We are a global company in healthcare integration with many years’ experience in integration and interoperability, with customers that range from both State and Local government agencies to healthcare provider corporations.

Right Solution – Cloverleaf is a robust, intuitive and scalable integration platform, which has been implemented directly by hundreds of customers and indirectly by over 10,000 customers as part of our business.

Necessary Pre-planning

A thorough understanding of any Hospital or Health System migration environment is the critical first step to ensure faster time-to-value. The organization’s motivations for undertaking an OS migration should be carefully considered, as these may influence choices, opportunities, and trade-offs. Likewise, understanding your potential deployment scenarios will help you be proactive in identifying any roadblocks and anticipating future needs. The migration planning process

Allegiance Healthcare Solutions has established a proven five-step process designed to identify migration opportunities, examine the risks associated with various migration scenarios, create a standard enterprise build, and develop a comprehensive strategic migration plan for the enterprise. Through this process, we need to examine the existing AIX architecture and determine the equivalent

      1. capabilities in the Red Hat Enterprise Linux ecosystem.
      2. Examine third-party functional and business applications and determine the equivalent capabilities in the Red Hat Enterprise Linux ecosystem.
      3. Measure organizational readiness and overall migration risk.
      4. Develop a strategic AIX-Red Hat Enterprise Linux migration plan, including a detailed roadmap and cost estimate.
      5. Implement the strategic migration plan and employ implementation support strategies. The details that follow are intended to provide insight into the considerations and processes required to move from AIX to Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

The strategic migration process for FULL AIX migration to RHEL 9.0

This section describes a holistic, five-step process designed to identify operating system and application migration opportunities, examine the risks associated with various migration scenarios, create a standard enterprise build, and develop a comprehensive strategic migration roadmap for the enterprise.

Migration process overview

The following table gives a high-level overview of the phases, deliverables, and durations involved in the migration planning process.

Phase Description Deliverables Typical duration

      1. Infrastructure application analysis and standard build

This phase examines existing AIX infrastructure and administrative functionality and applications (the “As Is” architecture) to make recommendations for their equivalent capabilities in a Red Hat Enterprise Linux ecosystem. During this phase a standard operating environment build of Red Hat Enterprise Linux is created as a baseline “To Be” architecture.

      • Infrastructure applications recommendations report
      • Enterprise standard build
      • High-level infrastructure weeks

Functional applications analysis This phase examines third-party functional / business applications (i.e., SAP, Oracle, custom applications) and makes recommendations for their equivalent capabilities in the Red Hat Enterprise Linux ecosystem.

    • Functional applications recommendations report
    • High-level applications migration cost estimate weeks (highly variable, depending on number and complexity of applications)

C:     Readiness and risk analysis This phase looks at additional technical and business details such as server sizing, service level agreements (SLAs), server refresh cycles, skills gaps, training, IT processes and practices, IT governance, etc. to measure organizational readiness and overall migration risk.

    • Migration risk analysis report
    • Organizational readiness report weeks

D:     Strategic migration planning  The final phase combines the results of Phases A–E and uses that information to produce a detailed migration roadmap as well as a detailed migration cost estimate for the entire migration project.

    • Overall migration cost estimate
    • Strategic migration roadmap 2-3 weeks

E:     Migration implementation The final phase combines the results of Phases A–E and uses that information to produce a detailed migration roadmap, scope of activities needed, as well as a detailed migration cost estimate for the entire migration project.

    • Cloverleaf upgrade and Server migration 11.5 weeks based on 40-45 hours work week.
